Purchase you r favorite steak cut from Woudstras
– this recipe works for any cut so choose your favorite. This recipe
works well when grilling for a group with different doneness preferences.
Olive oil
Course ground pepper
Onion salt
Grill-In-Grill-Out Seasoning (available
at Woudstras)
Pat steaks dry and place on a large platter or pan.
Brush each side with olive oil and then sprinkle both sides with the onion
salt, coarse ground pepper, (regular works fine if that is what you have –
we happen to like the fresh ground pepper) and the Grill-In-Grill-Out
seasoning. Let stand at room temperature for 15 -30 minutes to let the
flavors penetrate the meat. Grill to your specific doneness preferences.
Remove from heat and place on a cutting board. Slice the steak in 1/4 to
1/2 inch slices and arrange them on a clean large platter according to
doneness. This way you can actually see which slices are more done than
others. When ready to serve, sprinkle again with the Grill-In Grill-Out
seasoning. This adds a wonderful flavor to the meat. Everyone can see how
the slices are done and small appetites can take a few slices while the
“Steak Eaters” can have as much as they like. This recipe can also be
made inside on a grill pan, broiler, or however you cook steak indoors.
